The barn combines a traditional Tuscan look, featuring exposed wooden beams, an open fireplace and terracotta tiles, with some twentieth century modern design.
On the ground floor there is a large light-filled living room; large doors lead onto the terrace, plus there is lounge seating and a 1960s Heals’ refectory table for dinner. There is also a TV and DVD player, plus guide books and maps on the Chianti region.
Partly open-plan to the living room, the kitchen has a breakfast bar, marble countertops, two large fridge/freezers, and an espresso machine. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, we hope visitors have everything they’ll need to create delicious meals using ingredients, inspired by our vegetable garden and the local food shops and markets.
The kitchen also includes another dining area with a round marble table and more doors out to the terrace and garden.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Every bedroom has ensuite facilities including walk-in showers. The master bedroom has windows facing out in 3 directions and a bathroom with a bath and large walk-in shower.
All the bedrooms feature ceiling fans and mosquito nets on the windows, plus large fitted wardrobes. Our beds have 100% cotton sheets and bedspreads; lightweight duvets are provided for the cooler months. We also provide bathroom and pool towels for every guest.
There is also a washing machine available for guests to use.
